Mark West Area 2025 Survey
Our Mark West Area community has seen much change, tragedy, and outside pressures over the last few years. But Larkfield, Wikiup, and Fulton are places we are happy to call home and a community we are proud of.
We wish to see it remain resilient and ready to keep its pleasant and thriving nature in future years. With this in mind, this letter is a request on behalf of the Mark West Area Municipal Advisory Council (MWAMAC), Mark West Area Municipal Advisory Council, for your assistance in determining the future direction in building an even better community for future generations.
While the County is commencing its review and update of its Countywide General Plan, https://permitsonoma.org/generalplan, we have the opportunity for our specific community interests to be incorporated into that plan. Our local area plan adopted in 1980 has been reviewed and analyzed over the years but now is the time for full public input to achieve an outcome which reflects current times and gives a strong desirable future direction in a revised local plan.
We are asking you to complete the following survey which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey data will be compiled by a consulting firm retained by the County to be provided to the MWAMAC. All questionnaires will remain strictly confidential. Your answers will help make sure our local area plan priorities align with your needs. The questions cover a variety of topics including but not limited to public safety, parks and recreation, traffic, housing, public works, shopping services and much more.
